Discord Commands#
Written By Didi. All commands here are run from inside Discrd.
Keep in mind of the following:
- You can ping a user instead of using (username) in most cases, if it doesn't work. Try with their
- Omit the brackets when running commands
- If a command starts with
-then it is running on the Minecraft server, through @SpaceBot#6456 - If a command starts with
.it is running through @AstroBot#0625, the servers utility and moderation bot Some commands require a Message ID. You have to enable developer mode to get the option to show the "Copy Message ID" button, which will show in the right click menu of a message.
Restricting a user#
Use Case: To prevent a user from logging into the server and talking/viewing any channel except for tickets.
.restrict (username)
Warning a user#
Use Case: To give a strike to a user, 3 strikes will ban a user, with the option to appeal. Another strike will permanently ban with no option to appeal.
.warn (username) [number of strikes to give, defaults to 1 if nothing is added in this field] (reason)
Unwarning a user#
Use Case: Well what do you think
.warnings (username)
To see the warnings that a user has. Copy the string of numbers corresponding to the warning you want to remove, and then run
.unwarn (username) (string of numbers from above)
View warnings#
Use Case: View how many warnings a user has
.warnings (username)
Purging messages#
Use Case: Deleting lots of messages in bulk
.cpurge (amount of messages to delete)
OR
.purge (message id of the last message to keep)
Sending messages as AstroBot#
Use Case: Staying anonymous in a ticket
.say (channel) (message)
Please Note: The above command doesnt work with threads. You can use the following, inside the ticket channel as an alternative.
.say (message).
If you plan on sending lots of messages, run the following command, inside the channel you would like to send messages in.
.interact
A session will start inside the Bot's DM's where you can send messages to be sent inside the channel
Please note that you should run the command before adding the user to the ticket as they might have a message logger
